Star Wars filmmakers tease details of 'young Han Solo' stand-alone movie.

More details have been released about the upcoming “young Han Solo” movie, which is due in 2018.

After Harrison Ford returns to the role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in December, Lucasfilm will be taking us back in time for a standalone movie looking at Han Solo before we met him in the first Star Wars film.

No actor has yet been cast in the iconic role, but Lucasfilm president Katleen Kennedy confirmed Han wouldn’t be too much of a youngster: “He’ll definitely be probably in the high teens, low 20s. We’re not introducing you to a 10-year-old Han Solo.”
