American singer, Bono, who is in Lagos at the moment, was finishing up a meeting and about to go into another, but managed to grant Pulse Head, Rich Tanksley a quick telephone interview at about 8:30 PM on Friday, August 28, 2015.

On Friday, August 28, 2015, lead singer of U2 and ONE’s co-founder, Bono joined top Nigerian music acts that include D’Banj, Diamond, Banky W and Femi Kuti for the remake of Strong Girl song – a rallying cry for women’s empowerment featuring some of Africa’s top female stars that first got the world dancing in May.

Produced by Cobhams Asuquo, the new version of the song that originally featured Selmor Mtukudzi, Waje and Yemi Alade, had the famous musician interacting with Nigerian music stars.
Pulse met with Bono to talk about his views and reasons for the ONE Campaign.
