X Factor 2015: Rita Ora says she's earned her place on the panel.

Rita Ora has said she deserves to be a judge on The X Factor.

The Poison singer has joined the panel of the ITV singing competition alongside Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw, and said she has the right to be there beside them.

The 23-year-old star told Glamour: “It’s not about thinking, ‘Oh my God, I want to be on TV every Saturday night!’

“I’m a musician, I’ve built this bond with my team, with the music industry. I’ve worked hard to be involved with everything you see my name associated with. It doesn’t happen overnight, and I feel I have as much right to be on that panel as everyone does.”
