Uvie and her husband Maxwell Herbert Peile recently welcomed their first child. Uvie and Maxwell got married in London on May 3, 2014.

Sir Alex Ibru was the founder and publisher of The Guardian daily newspaper.

On November 20, 2011 he passed away at the age of 66.
