BBC radio presenter Iain Lee has left his job after calling a representative for an anti-gay Christian group “a bigot” during a debate on homophobia.
Iain made the comments to Libby Powell, a lawyer for the Christian Legal Centre, who was appearing on his BBC Three Counties radio show to defend a reverend who had read out verses from the Bible condemning homosexuality during a service at a prison.
