New Star Wars clip reveals a link between the original stars and the new generation.

“I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people. I see your eyes. I know your eyes.”

This is the voiceover for the new TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which ties together the generations – and puts the focus on Daisy Ridley’s Rey, John Boyega’s Finn and Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron.

The voice most likely belongs to Lupita Nyong’o, who plays a mysterious character known as Maz Kanata.

It reveals the continuity between the new characters and the old guard of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca, linking one of the film’s new stars, most likely Rey, with a hero from the original trilogy.
