One Direction retain top spot in young rich list.

One Direction may have lost a member this year, but the chart-topping boyband has not seen their success diminish in the wake of Zayn Malik's departure.

The group - featuring 22-year-olds Niall Horan, Liam Payne, 21-year-old Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, 23 - have retained their title as Britain's richest under-30s for the third year running in Heat magazine's annual Rich List.

The four-piece, whose hits this year include Drag Me Down and Perfect from their upcoming fifth album Made In The A.M., beat Daniel Radcliffe, Robert Pattinson and Adele by amassing a combined fortune of an estimated £82.08 million, up £4.56 million from last year.

Malik, 22, who left One Direction in March and announced he has signed a solo record deal with RCA Records in July, made his solo debut on the list in eighth position with estimated individual earnings of around £20.52 million.

Actor Radcliffe, 26, remains in second place with an estimated fortune of £65.8 million, while Pattinson is in third spot with £51.04 million.

Adele, who is back in the charts with her new single Hello, takes fourth place with £38.1 million - ahead of Emma Watson in fifth place with £35.33 million.
