Peter Andre tops Strictly leaderboard after two perfect 10s for his Charleston.

Peter Andre beat his fellow celebrities to top the scoreboard on Strictly Come Dancing this week.

The singer scored 38 for his performance of the Charleston, earning two 10s on the way.

But it was another bad week for Carol Kirkwood, whose American smooth saw her take bottom spot, with judge Craig Revel Horwood saying it was like "watching a bumper car ride".

Despite the weather presenter having worked hard to get her footwork correct, the judges agreed that it still needed more work, and she scored just 17 points.

Actress Helen George danced the rumba to a rendition of Adele's new single Hello, earning high praise for her passion and drama and scoring 31 points.

Singer Jay McGuiness earned high praise for his Argentine tango with head judge Len Goodman labelling it a "polished performance".

The dance earned The Wanted singer - who is now bookies' favourite to win the show - 34 points.

Broadcaster Katie Derham's quickstep saw her score 26 points, while presenter Anita Rani's energetic jive saw her match McGuiness's score.
