Fans of the multi-instrumentalist had been primed to snap up tickets for the Piano & A Microphone tour, which will see him play in Glasgow, London and Birmingham later this year.
But in a series of tweets on his official account, the Purple Rain star hit out at people who buy tickets to sell them at inflated prices, comparing them to “vultures” and “scavengers”.
