Shannen Doherty Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Breast Cancer Announcement.

She may be going through a tough time, but Shannen Doherty won't let that stop her from celebrating an important cause.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star made her first red carpet appearance since revealing she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, supporting the 2015 Baby2Baby Gala at 3LABS in Culver City, California, on Saturday.


Doherty wore a black sleeveless Vera Wang dress to the dinner, which she paired with a belt, dangling silver earrings and black sandals.

The event celebrated the non-profit Baby2Baby, which provides low-income children with diapers, clothing and basic necessities. Kerry Washington was honored at the dinner with the Giving Tree Award for her support of the charity and children in need.

"Such a wonderful evening with inspiring women like @kerrywashington who gave one of the most inspiring speeches and the gorgeous, funny @jessicaalba check out #baby2baby an organization that helps supply necessities for children coming from low income or no income families," Doherty wrote on Instagram following the soiree.
