Vic Reeves wants to play Norris Cole's son in Coronation Street.

You could be seeing Vic Reeves wander down Weatherfield’s cobbles if the comedian gets his way.

Speaking at The Royal Television Society North West Awards, Vic said he’d love a job on Coronation Street – and in quite an interesting role.

The Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) star would love to stack shelves as the offspring of The Kabin owner Norris Cole, played by Malcolm Hebden.

“I would like to be Norris’s son,” Vic revealed. ”I have watched Corrie since I was little and I have never ever missed an episode. For me it’s the greatest TV.

“I would love to be on Corrie. It would make my life complete.”
