Top soapie houses rubbish SABC 'payment problems'

Endemol SA and Word Of Mouth Productions have rubbished recent reports that the SABC's coffers were running on empty and that it could not honour payments to them.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE both Endemol SA, which produces Isidingo and Word Of Mouth Productions, which makes Muvhango said that it had received payments and had no issues with the public broadcaster.

This comes after a Sunday tabloid reported that the production companies had not received payment for March.

Endemol Managing Director, Helga Palmer confirmed to TshisaLIVE that it had received its full payment from the SABC.
