Solo: A Star Wars Story has gone through quite the overhaul since its inception, chief among them a switch of directors.

Among the other changes was the removal of The Wire's Michael K Williams, who was due to appear as crime lord Dryden Vos but was cut after they replaced original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller with Ron Howard.

As a consequence of reshoots, Williams said he was unable to continue on the project, and was subsequently replaced by Paul Bettany.
