It's official – Dick Wolf's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit made history this year by hitting season 20 and tying with Gunsmoke for the title of TV's longest-running primetime drama.

But the team are obviously keen to carry on for a long as possible, setting a record that may never be beaten in the streaming era.

Astonishingly, it's also had the same lead since the pilot, and long-time series star Mariska Hargitay is keen to continue.
