Fondly remembered for her hit song - Seun Rere, Christy also released many tunes in different Nigerian languages such as: Igbo, Ibibio, Efik, Hausa, Yoruba.
Global tech giant, Google has honoured late Christy Essien-Igbokwe today, November 11, 2018, with a doodle.
The doodle is to celebrate Nigeria’s Lady of Songs’ posthumous 58th birthday.
A doodle is the temporary replacement of the Google logo on its homepage to celebrate holidays, events, achievements or people.
