The never-ending parade of red carpets continued on Sunday night with the Baftas, as the 2026 awards season in Hollywood landed on the altogether rainier shores of the UK. It was an enormous night for Oscars frontrunner One Battle After Another, which topped the bill at the end of the night with six awards including Best Film and Best Director.
Sinners also continued its unstoppable, history-making ride through this year's Oscars race, where it is already the most-nominated movie of all time, by landing three Baftas. That film also provided some major British success, with Wunmi Mosaku scooping the Best Supporting Actress prize over the highly-fancied likes of Teyana Taylor and Odessa A’zion.
